LIP SEAL TYPES

BASIC TYPES CB AND CC
(Form A acc. DIN 3760 and 3761)

The types CB and CC have rubber covered metal insert, which gives perfect sealing between the seal O.D. and the housing bore, even in split housings and housing materials having large thermal expansion. Flat as well as wavy rubber covered OD exist.

BASIC TYPES BB AND BC
(Form B acc. DIN 3761)

The types BB and BC are metal cased. Type BB is, because of the small quantity of rubber, especially advantageous when expensive compounds are required or for applications where the soft rubber cover of the types CB and CC can be damaged during fitting.

BASIC TYPES DB AND DC
(Form C acc. DIN 3761)

The types DB and DC are assembled seals with metal inner and outer cases. The good stability is of advantage when rough fitting conditions may occur.
